[From Kansai International Airport (KIX) via car] Take the KIX Airport Bridge to the Izumisano Junction for the Hanwa Expressway North. Continue north to the Matsubara Junction. Enter the Kinki Expressway and continue to Suita Junction North and enter the Meishin Expressway. Exit at the Kyoto Minami Exit. There are two exits. Both will converge to the same exit on Route 1. Continue northeast on Route 1 to the Gojo Horikawa intersection and turn right. Continue to the Kawaramachi Oiike Intersection and turn right. The Kyoto Royal Hotel & Spa will be the second building on the left. [From Osaka Airport (ITM)] Take the Hanshin Expressway Number 11 towards Osaka to the Toyonaka Interchange. Enter the Meishin Expressway East towards Kyoto. Exit at Kyoto Minami Exit. There are two exits. Both will converge to the same exit on Route 1.
